And one of these, actually several of these and the only thing better than one is several used at a time.

Nice thing, I believe they are light enough to be airlifted to trouble spots in a hurry.

The next thing we need are our own mother ships, capable of carrying aviation assets, with well decks for fast attack patrol boats and an armed amphibious force. This would be perfect as a command ship and when surrounded by its escorting contingent-formidable.

Aerial assets that would be best would be the P3
Orion aircraft. Formerly tasked with ASW missions, they would be ideal for long range patrol over the waters plied by the Somali pirates(aka maritime terrorists)

Djibouti The best location for a mission to prosecute action against maritime terrorism.
Djibouti has good port facilities, command and control locations and established air bases.
Perfect location at which to base a maritime response force.

Down the throat
***
A tactic perfected by Mush Morton in World War Two.
When your submarine found itself being hotly pursued by
destroyers hell bent on killing you-what do you do?
Wake up the Exec-he has never seen a sinking like this you say?
Not so. Be calm-don't sweat and let the engaging unit
close within mere yards-at the last minute give him one from the
aft tubes and he is no more. By the way Mush is a MOH recipient.
