Aerial assets that would be best would be the P3
Orion aircraft. Formerly tasked with ASW missions, they would be ideal for long range patrol over the waters plied by the Somali pirates(aka maritime terrorists)

Sorry brother, the P-3 is history now. Ain't no more. Prettiest fire I ever saw when I was with the fire stations on Adak, a P-3 crashed on take off. Had to let her burn after we found that the entire crew got out safely. When magnesium burns, it is hot and puts out some great colored flames!
