The next thing we need are our own mother ships, capable of carrying aviation assets, with well decks for fast attack patrol boats and an armed amphibious force. This would be perfect as a command ship and when surrounded by its escorting contingent-formidable.

Dual purpose ship, very good concept but what happens when some hot shot pilot decides to try and land in the well deck?
